St Bede Church

Williamsburg, VA  2004

Worked as sculptor and design consultant for the architect and Arts and Furnishings committee for a new 2,500 seat church designed by Kerns Group Architects. Madonna and Child sculpture is 8 feet tall from a solid block of Carrara calacatta marble. The 14 terra-cotta bas-relief Stations of the Cross are mounted along the interior walls.  Mosaic is in the entryway of the main church- collaboration with Donna McCullough.  Madonna and Child carved at Bertagnini SRL, Carrara, Italy.
