This rider and horse sculpture on a bridge is a symbol of a passage or journey. This series is inspired by riding by horseback in Italy and Ireland on many of the old trails traveled by pelligrini. Many people made these pilgrimages mostly on foot, throughout Europe for a spiritual awakening of the soul.
